Pilots' psychological readiness is one of the most important factors in maintaining flight safety. The aim of this study was to develop positive and negative individual factors affecting the psychological preparation of airline pilots. The research was conducted qualitatively. The study population was all pilots of an airline in Tehran in 1398. The sample was 10 pilots who were selected by purposive method. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. This process continued until theoretical saturation was obtained in response to interview questions. Thematic analysis method was used to analyze the data. Data analysis led to the identification of two categories of positive and negative individual factors affecting the psychological readiness of pilots. In the category of negative factors affecting the psychological readiness of pilots; Physical and personality weakness, weakness in personal management, economic and occupational concerns, and unprofessional behavior were identified. In the category of positive factors affecting the mental readiness of pilots; Physical and personality empowerment, individual and organizational beliefs, positive attitude towards work and life, job planning, application of skills and personal management facilities were extracted. This study showed that two categories of positive and negative individual factors are among the most important issues in the psychological preparation of pilots that should be considered.

The research data were collected using semi-structured interviews and the content analysis method was used to analyze this data. The findings of the interviews were extracted and categorized into three main themes: negative thoughts, feelings, and emotions caused by illness, changes in family members' behavior , and changes in other people's behaviors . The aim of this study was to determine the effect of Teaching Emotion Regulation Based on Gross Model in Reducing Impulsivity in smokers. The research method was semi-experimental and was use of the unequal control group design. For this purpose, 30 smoker students of Islamic Azad University of Hamedan were selected and randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. First, Barrett's Impulsivity Scale (1997), was performed for both groups. Then, the experimental group received a teaching emotion regulation based on Gross model for 8 sessions. But the control group did not receive any training. After completing the training, Barrett's impulsivity scale was again performed for both groups. Analysis of data using multivariate analysis of covariance (MANOVA) showed that emotional regulation training based on Gross model has a positive effect on reducing the impulsivity of smokers, & on cognitive impulsivity, motor impulsivity, non-planning impulsivity. The results showed that Grass's emotion regulation training had an effect on the impulsivity of smokers and reduced impulsivity. Since smokers are exposed to negative emotions, they are likely to be unplanned and impacted; therefore, emotional regulation training based on Grass's model can be effective in reducing the impulsivity of smokers. The goal of this study is to compare the effect of training the skills of coping with stress and coping strategies on mental health of female students. In this experimental research with pretest-posttest design, the statistical population consists of female students of Hamadan Islamic Azad University. 300 students are selected by random sampling. Then, after administrating the mental health questionnaire, 60 persons with highest scores are selected and randomly assigned into three groups, each consisting of 20 students (two experimental groups and one control group). The assessment tool is the mental health questionnaire S.C.L (90)-R and the data are analyzed by multivariate analysis of covariance. The findings indicate that training the skills of coping with stress and coping strategies could significantly improve the mental health of students. The comparison between the effects of training the skills of coping with stress and coping strategies reveals that coping strategies have more effect than training the skills of coping with stress on mental health of female students
